Tony H. Dorado began Dorado Tax Service at 3850 East 14th Street (now International Boulevard) in 1954 as one of only two offices in Oakland providing Income Tax and Bookkeeping services in Spanish and English.

In the ensuing thirty years, he formed many lasting friendships among his clients and their families attending to their needs with professionalism, honesty, and respect.
